I was very pleasantly surprised with Day Block the first time I tried it. It seems to always be packed during happy hour, and they have a robust selection of beers they brew in-house. The pizzas are quirky and delicious, and don’t get me started on their bacon flights. Yes – they have bacon flights with 3 types of bacon and 3 different sauces. This place beats out Fulton for me (another downtown brewery) because of the food they make and serve in-house.
