Birch’s Lowertown is located right across the street from CHS field in Saint Paul. The inside is casual with long wooden benches for community seating. They have a great beer list and a sample of decent wines as well. The burger at Birch’s is definitely the star of the show of this place – as without it – it’d be just a basic, normal bar. The burger has two patties, smashed thin with a buttery consistency and salty cheese melted all over the tops and sides of the meat. I ordered a burger to split with my dad as we weren’t too hungry – and we ended up ordering a second burger as soon as we had our first bite.
